Holiday house Casa Juana is situated in the village Puntallana in the sunny north-eastern part of the island La Palma.
It is an original Canarian style house constructed in 1880. In those days Casa Juana was a cottage with stables, a shed for grain storage and a bodega.
The owners have tastefully renovated the cottage and converted to a beautiful and comfortable holiday home with modern comforts yet with many of original features. Use has been made of natural and authentic materials throughout and with its thick walls the temperatures in summer and winter are pleasant.
Casa Juana offers sleeping accommodation up to 5 persons.

Accommodation
Casa Juana has a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.

In the living room you'll find comfortable furniture en TV. The bed-settee offers a full sized bed for an extra person. The open fire keeps it warm and romantic during cold spells in the winter.


The spacious kitchen has a dining table with chairs, refrigerator, ceramic hob and oven, filter coffee machine, mixer, grill, toaster, electric juicer and a good assortment of kitchen utensils.

The 2 bedrooms sleeps up to 2 persons. One bedroom has a double bed 135x200M, the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds 90x200M and there are bed side tables and wardrobes. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and wc.

Outside
Casa Juana has several terraces with furniture and sunbeds and a garden with aromatic and medicinal herbs for the use of guests. You can work in the garden if you would like to. There is a barbecue

Area

From the aiport it is about 20 minutes drive to Casa Juana. A supermarket and restaurant are just a few minutes walk away.
In Puntallana are a supermarket, bank with cash dispenser, postoffice, medical centre, dispensing chemist and some bars.
A museum and traditional handcraft you'll find in the Casa Luján, a beautiful renovated building with garden. The church of San Juan Bautista is from the 16th century.
The Puntallana beach is Playa Nogales, the beach of Los Cancajos is a 20 minutes drive away.
The capital Santa Cruz is 10 minutes drive away.
There are many walking paths in the area and you can walk directly from Puntallana.
